Wild Tiger's Youth Council
Wild Tiger's Youth Council is a volunteer leadership development program that instills the skills to organize, advocate, and lead. During the school year, members will meet established professionals and engage in monthly workshops, create educational resources online, gain experience with science communication, and work together to execute an outreach event. Previous guest speakers include Wildlife Conservation Society's Director for Science, Asia, Dr. Ullas Karanth, and the Founder of Coalition WILD, Crista Valentino.
Over the course of the school year, Youth Council members will serve actively through monthly, 1.5-hour video-based workshops. For 3-4 weeks every member will have the opportunity to write and publish on Wild Tiger's Facebook and Instagram. By the end of the year, members will work together to develop and execute an event that educates the community on tiger conservation.
